At Bin There Dump That, we understand that most entrepreneurs who want to invest in a home services franchise might not have much familiarity with dumpster rental businesses. To help set our Franchise Operators up for success, we offer comprehensive franchise training that immerses you in the most important responsibilities that come with running a dumpster business.
Our franchise training programs are structured within a thorough phased process that identifies and familiarizes you with all the aspects you must complete to effectively launch a home services franchise with Bin There Dump That.
Once you have worked through all six steps of the Due Diligence and Discovery Process and are ready to confirm your decision to become a Bin There Dump That Franchise Operator, you will transition from working with our Development Team to working with our Super Support Team.
The Bin There Dump That Super Support team works within a thorough phased process that helps guide new Franchise Operators through all the items needed to position every Bin There Dump That location on solid footing to begin building positive momentum right away.
The next stage of our franchise training starts with a Welcome Call - an introductory conference call to introduce you to the Bin There Dump That Home Office team. Each individual on the team will talk about how they will help you to be successful in this new venture and you will be introduced to your own personal Franchise Support Coach!
During this conference call you will be introduced to the pre-opening manual and checklist. The checklist clearly lays out every item to be completed prior to the opening of the business. It will include responsibilities like:
Together, you and the Super Support Team will select an opening date and create a time frame for all members of the team to work towards the actual date of the opening of the location. The team will also schedule continued update calls with you to help stay on track.
Each new Bin There Dump That Franchise Operator will spend a week at the Home Office where you will learn all aspects of Bin There Dump That. You will spend a full day better understanding how we communicate to our customers and educating them as we walk alongside them when they are renting a dumpster. We will also put together a 12-month Cash Flow with sales projections that you can lean on for your first year. When you finish with our franchise training and support, you will have a theoretical understanding of what it takes to be a Bin There Dump That operator.
After we complete the in-class training component, where we learn the theoretical training, you will visit 1 of our 3 National Training Facilities. There, you will apply the classroom training and learn what it is like to operate the business from the “boots on the ground” perspective. This includes a breakdown of our Simple and Friendly Business Model, covering:
Typically between 2-3 weeks after finishing your roll-off dumpster training, you will receive your first truck and bin deliveries. You can receive support for your outside sales efforts and connect with the local representatives from our National Relationships program. Typically within a month or two, you will receive a site visit from your coach who will spend 2 days with you in person at your location to keep your location on track.
The final phase of our comprehensive support is ongoing through your location’s operation. Our Super Support team works alongside you to help grow your franchise through the following efforts:
Scheduled between yourself and the Super Support Team to ensure that the business is off to a good start and any questions, issues, or challenges are addressed early. These calls will typically start weekly, then move to monthly or as required.
You can plan this with their Franchise Support Coach within the first 6 months of the business being operational. The purpose of the visit is to help ensure that the business is running efficiently and that you are using all the tools available to you effectively.
Peer Performance Groups consist of Franchise Operators (typically 5-8 per group) who connect on a web meeting once per quarter to share and analyze their Key Performance Indicators. Through these group discussions, you can share experiences and best practices, ask questions, and learn from one another's successes and challenges.
This event is usually hosted once per year in January or February (typically slower months for those in northern regions). It is a wonderful opportunity to bring the entire Bin There Dump That team together to collaborate, share in new developments within the business, inspire one another, network with suppliers, and have fun together.
One of the best parts of being a Franchise Operator is having instant kinship to others in the Bin There Dump That franchise network. It is of the utmost importance that there is a bond between team members and they can turn to one another for support, advice, and to celebrate each other's achievements - both professional and personal.
